Today was gorgeous and warm, so of course I donned a bikini top and went for a walk on the beach. I found this perfect little nook up on a dune and just soaked in the sun and the serenity.

I think the barefoot walk in the uneven, sandy turf did a number on my ankles though. They are so sore! My ligaments feel strained. Maybe I should avoid high heels this week…

So worth it!

The Chamber of Commerce hosted a CEO Golf Tournament at Eagle Point – and this is the view from the golf cart Emily and I were driving. This was before we got lost, attacked by a sprinkler, and drove across the middle of the fairway. Thank goodness we are blonde and can get away with these things! (at Eagle Point Golf Club)

Nice little Sunday walk on the beach. Solitude, sunlight, and fresh salty air does a body (and spirit) good!

Snow in Surf City! Annie is flabbergasted, but she went out in it twice!

Sunday afternoon walk in Holly Ridge. Looks like a place Bonni and I would have explored when we were little! We would have ridden our bikes and made our own fort and civilization. Oh, to be a kid again!
